The Best of Southern England

April 16 - 23, 2017

Vacation overview:

This Southern England tour highlights some of the historical monuments and beautiful towns found throughout Southern England.  Your tour starts in London with guided sightseeing of the city's must-see attractions, including Big Ben and a visit inside St. Paul's Cathedral, the iconic church famous throughout the world.  History buffs are sure toi be delighted on the visits to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and a town that brings to life what life was like in 16th-century England; mysterious Stonehenge; the fascinating Roman ruins in Bath, once used over 2,000 years ago for bathing and socializing; and Hever Castle, the 13th-century, double moated castle and childhood home of Anne Boleyn.  Enjoy a walking tour of Hampton Court Palace's gardens, with their sparking fountains and ornamental flower displays.  Visist magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, consecrated in 1258 and home to the best preserved original Magna Carta.

From the vibrant city of London to the relaxing, seaside town of Brighton, this Southern England tour is a vacation of a lifetime!

Rome, Pisa, Florence, Milan, Venice and more

September 18 - October 1, 2017

Vacation overview:

On this Italy tour not only will you see the main Italian cities, you'll also get to enjoy some of the smaller towns and scenic attractions.  You'll visit the must-see sights in the cities, such as the Vatican Museums in Rome, Michelangelo's David in Florence, St. Mark's Square and Basilica in Venice, the glass-domed Galleria in Milan, and much more.  One tour highlight is Pompeii, which was completely buried during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.  This preserved town gives you an amazingly detailed look into life at the peak of the Roman Empire.  Admire the paintings still on the walls, and look for the early fast-food restaurants beloved by the ancient Romans.  You will also have an opportunity to relax in the laid-back town of Sorrento.  Explore the cobblestone streets lined with shops and restaurants, delight in the amazing views, watch the sunset dip into the sea, and see Mount Vesuvius across the bay.  You'll also have time in Capri, where celebrities go to "get away from it all".
